Vanderbilt Campus Dining used The Campus Dining App to power their website in addition to feeding content to the app for both iOS and Android.
Each restaurant and market was listed with a live “what’s open” feature showing units presently open, closing soon, and closed along with images of the unit, descriptions, regular and special hours of operations, cuisine filtering, menus, maps and more.
The Taste of Nashville program was also included in the app through an extension. This campus program allowed students to use their meal plan at off-campus partner restaurants. These off-campus partner restaurants were listed in the app in a similar fashion as the on-campus restaurants and markets.
Vanderbilt also utilized additional features such as news, the special events calendar, health scores, meal plan information, awards and contact us. Students could also register for RSVP-only events within the app when limited-seating events occured.
